So today I did something that I haven't done in a while.
I played video games. I got a PS3 back in early Feburary and I haven't really played it much since the first week I had it. But today I played the Fantasy RPG Dragon Age: Origins for like three+ hours... LOL
Have you heard of it? It's a really well done game. I think it came out last fall... in like November or something.
There are a lot of things I like about it, but my favorite would have to be the dialogue.
Let me give you some examples:
Alistair and Sten talking about Sten being imprisoned in a cage for 20+ days:
Alistair: Were you really locked up in that cage for twenty days?
Sten: It may have been more like thirty. I stopped counting after a while.
Alistair: What did you do? Twenty days is a long time.
Sten: On good days, I posed riddles to passers-by, offering treasures for the correct answers.
Alistair: Really?
Sten: No.
Shale is a golem, made of rock:
Isolde: Who is this man, Teagan?
Bann Teagan: Were it not for his help, Isolde, I would not be here. I owe him my life.
Shale: And we crush the heads of rude women when we feel like it. Just so you know.

Alistair is like my favorite character ever... in the history of ever:
"What do you think I spawned from a log?"
"A thieving weird talking log maybe..." -Alistiars response to Morrigan.
PC is Players Characer:
Alister - "What are these darkspawn doing here? They shouldn't be this far ahead of the main force!"
PC - "Maybe you should tell them they're in the wrong place."
Alister - "Oh, right! We'll just calmly tell them where the battle field is and send them on their merry way."
More Alistair quotes because I love him so:
(meeting Morrigan) "Swooping is bad."
"You smell great; is that death you're wearing? It really suits you."
"We won? We did? Yay!" (after being knocked unconscious)
"Now that the warm fuzzy part is over we can get back to the ritual dismemberments. Oh wait, it's not Tuesday is it?"
"Have you ever licked a lamp post in winter?"
(falling in battle) "New strategy... bite... ankles..."
"Alistair, she's one archdemon short of a blight."
"Yes, but she seems more... "Ooh, pretty colors!" than "Muahaha! I am Princess Stabbity! Stab, kill, kill!"
These are the Darkspawn... not exactly your nice friendly neighbor... LOL:
And from my other favorite Character... Zevran the Rogue-ish elf:
"I feel like we have just entered the Grand Cleric's bedchambers. Where no one has gone before..."
"Death happens," as we like to say. And when I get paid for it, death happens more often."
(upon finding the Urn of Sacred Ashes) "Nice vase. I should get one for my home."
and this... OMG I died laughing:
(Random banter between Shale and Zevran) Shale: So you see me winning the affection of another golem, do you? Most golems are slaves to whomever holds their control rod.
Zevran: Funny, it works exactly the same way for us as well.
