It's sunny again and the week has actually been good.
My interview at Unique went really well! They're going to give me a few shifts teaching Powerplates and then it's up to me whether I get paid per hour or waiver the payment in favour of bringing clients into the gym to train free.
Had a good, productive script meeting on project #3 yesterday but managed to convinced the girls to pass on me doing any writing this week. I'll do an edit at the weekend when things are a bit less hectic. Our ideas are great again, but that's saying nothing in this industry. We'll get a pitch together and get it to some production companies next month, see if there's any interest. Our big boss has good contacts, which should work in our favour.
Got my first personal training client too, Penny C! We had our first consultation this morning and I've spent the rest of the day putting her programme together. I have enough to go on for the time being, but once I've taken her through a session I'll do more planning in accordance with what she can do/what she likes etc etc. Really excited now, just want to get going. I was a bit nervous to start with but I know now I can give her a really tough, fun, varied workout that hits all her targets and set her up with some more stuff to get stuck into on her workouts during the week. Such a boon being able to take her to Unique and use all their kit there, although the weather's so lush at the moment that working out in the park would be fun too.
Massively socially busy over the next few days too, which is a bit mad and unusual for me. Going to the cinema tonight with Ellie and Katie to see Rebecca, ye olde Hitchcock classic. Then tomorrow night Sam and I are going to Majestic to a free wine tasting evening (which won't be quite so cheap when we get suckered into buying loads of wine but ah well). Friday Catie's coming up and we're going to Throwback, which is a kinda Paradise Garage style loft party somewhere odd in Leeds that sounds fabulous, so I'm very excited about that, especially since her Saturday netball match has been cancelled so we can celebrate in style :0) Then leaving drinks for Claire on Saturday night (hoping I'm not too much of a mess after Friday) and the Beasts/Bridge & Tunnel/Young Livers/Protectors gig on Sunday night at the Fenton which I will definitely NOT be drinking at, but refuse to miss as all the bands look like they're gonna be mint.
Taking on more kid's clubs too as of Friday - and hopefully getting paid for them now!
Feels like everything has started happening at once, but in a totally good way.
