There's a total of *one* thing. I never allow anyone to ask how things could possibly get worse. In my experience, the universe always obliges and grants you the pleasure of experiencing it. Eventually, I banned my father from saying it. I never say it.
Black cats? I love them. If one crosses my path, I say hello. Ladders I avoid walking under unless I can help it, just because it's a safety concern. I'd break a mirror of my own accord, probably as part of ritual. Otherwise, broken glass is just another safety hazard.
I guess one could count my propensity for talking to "inanimate objects" as superstition. I do believe that most things just work better for you when you do. I also believe that inanimate objects have personalities - complete with opinions, feelings, desires, and preferences. I practice, this means that I talk nicely to my car, guitars, guns, computer, tv, jewelry, and lots of other things. I also try to take good care of them, in the belief that they'll treat me well.
