Little Arcade Machine
I'm about 2/3 done making a little simple arcade kinda game. Here is some progress pictures.
A little proof of concept test with the BASIC stamp and n-channel MOSFET driving a lamp.
Most of the electronic guts. BASIC stamp in upper left, buzzer in lower left, lamps, motor and power supply.
The front board with little ship and waves.
The drive mechanism for the ship and waves.
Sky and waves painted.
Squid painted, whale and flotation device penciled on.
Hopefully I'll be able to finish this thing soonish, though I am trying to take my time and be patient with it. I still need to make a coin acceptor switch but mostly I just need to wait for paint to dry and assemble everything. The only problem is that I only have oil based paint lying around, so it's going to be a while to dry this stuff. My actual pinball machine boards should be getting back in about a week or two which is exciting. Yay.
