Things I relearned by watching the first season dvd extras:
George died on June 27th.
Reapers have a sort of sixth sense that alerts them to the presence of other Reapers. I'm guessing that George's is a bit more keen than others' since she can spot Reapers easily and can see Gravelings even when others apparently can't. Which means that she potentially is more powerful than she appears to be.
