To anyone still in the hospital!

Since it's my birthday and I'm stuck in the hospital (still), any of you who are currently still holed up here with me can come down to the cafeteria and we'll have a party!

Does anyone know how to bake a cake? You can't really have a birthday party without a cake...

This other kid I talked to might come down to help look through the kitchen and see if there's any good food. Other than that, I don't think so.

[After about ten minutes, Zuko arrives in front of the cafeteria with an armful of papers. He pauses by the door, looking around and hoping he'll recognize Yuuri. They'd seen each other through video, but it was a bit different in person]

[Yuuri turns a corner and sees Zuko standing in front of the cafeteria. He waves and quickens his pace to close the distance.]

Hey! It's nice to finally see you in person.

[Zuko smiles back, nodding in greeting since one of his arms is full and the other is still in a sling]

Same here. So... Elysia drew some pictures we can hang on the walls. Other than that, I couldn't think of any other decorations.

Oh, and happy birthday...in person!

Well, pictures are better than nothing, yeah? It's not like we can really do anything super fancy here...

Haha, thanks. I think I've actually heard that more times today than I ever did on my birthday back home...

No problem. And maybe that's because there are a lot of people here, and because of the communication devices? I guess it makes things easier, being able to say things over a large distance.

Ah, yeah, that's true. I never really had that many friends back home, either...
