[TRANS] 100903 Ueno Juri - "I Thought Jejung Hated Me!"
Japanese actor Ueno Juri talked about her thoughts regarding Kim Jejung, a fellow cast member of the Fuji TV drama "Sunao Ni Narenakute".
In the morning of the 3rd at the Seoul Lotte Hotel, Ueno Juri expressed to the reporters, "When it was time for the scenes of me and Jejung holding hands or hugging, he would always blush and run to the back, letting out 'ahhhh' sounds. Because he was hiding behind the wall, we couldn't properly communicate, so I had the thought of whether he maybe hated me.
Later on when we became closer, I asked him why he was like that, so he said because he was acting the role of a character who liked me, he purposely kept his distance."
She also states, "with regards to Jejung's comment during an interview on how much of an energetic person I am, I would have to say that he is a very caring friend, knowingly destroying his image just to make the atmosphere more lively.
He is also a really insightful actor. He made good use of the fight scene with his briefcase, naturally turning around when the action was originally supposed to stop immediately. When it was aired, he called be and said at a particular time, the cameraman was included in the scene. When I went back to check, I still couldn't see it. In the end, the staff found it. But it was such a fleeing moment, so being able to catch it means that his eyesight is really good.
Also, he brought along both his Korean and Japanese scripts to the filming site. After memorizing his lines, his acting was fantastic. His athletic abilities are pretty good, and his body is well-trained, so he is able to personally complete the action scenes. I believe that he is a great actor!"
Ueno Juri and Kim Jejung both acted in the drama "Sunao Ni Narenakute", which depicts the friendship journey of men and women who meet on an online networking site. Popular Japanese actor Eita, among others, also acted in this drama.
