I have a project to do for my World Religions class which entails visiting a non-Christian site (Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist). So, finally, after like a month of having this project and with only this one week left to do it (I procrastinate shut up / NaNo ate me), I found a Buddhist temple a few minutes away and called to arrange a visit.
This is what I got:
Reverend: Hello, X Buddhist Temple.
Me: Hi, I'm Juliet from X X High School, I'm doing a project for my religion class and-
Reverend: Ten o'clock. Come to the service at ten o'clock.
Me: o-okay ._.'''
I'm not creeped out, or even confused. I'm just frazzled. I didn't think Buddhists interrupted people on a regular basis. But I guess he's probably heard it a few times by now, so.
Off I go!~
