Hey sorry to bother you, I had a question about when you were getting Marshal/getting someone to move out. Did you Time Travel at all?

I ask since there is someone who wants to move from my town but she has yet to ping me about it yet everyone in town (since 12/31) whom I talk with is telling me she wants to move.

Not a bother at all. After Yuka talked to me, I TTd to her moving date and got her out.

But that's annoying. I've had villagers tell me someone is moving and they refuse to ping me that day, but they always ping me the next/the next time I load the game. Never refused to ping me for that long. I think it was pocketbiscuit who said sometimes starting a new character usually helps her and they ping the new one, maybe you could try that?

Ooooh I see. That explains why you mentioned the snowpapas disappear then? You went back to the original date after moving Yuka out?

So annoying! I loaded up my game today and Isabelle told me Rocket would be leaving tomorrow so that was uh, great heads up. I remember reading about that with the new character, I will have to keep that in mind. I just found it so weird Rocket never pinged me ever to tell me she was moving.

Thanks for your input! Though it took a while, ignoring a villager does seem to help. I can't say it speeds up the process but it does something.

Yes! I went back and my bingo cards were expired, but it was totally worth it to get Yuka out, and then again to get Marshal in! I really must google how many Snowman items there are, so I know how much more bingo I have to play before winter's over. I still need Snowtyke and Snowboy items, too.

At least you know when she's going. Rocket's cute, I hope she finds a good home!

I should start ignoring Kabuki and Genji, if it does something. I keep saying "the next person who asks, I'll let move" but I /still/ can't choose between Klaus and Beardo so I've ended up in this cycle where one of them will ask to leave and I'll decide to let the other one go, but then the other one asks (inevitably after a period where only my favourites ask to leave) and I decide to go for the other one again. Around and around.

Which is fair, better to get someone out then worry about like her changing her mind or something. Snowman things, god it's a tedious process. I'm honestly about 4 items away from completing the Snowman set but I lately SUCK at making Snowboys and I barely have the patience to reset. I have an extra Snowman Matryoshka from the Snowtyke! I can give it to you so that's one less thing XD

Yeah but it's too bad I couldn't give her away to someone who wanted Rocket. Her villager ended up changing his mind so she won't have an extra slot. I'll see if anyone wants Rocket in the LJ community, she's been nice but sadly her house is in an iffy spot. XD

Give it a try! Ignoring is harmless after all. If I still have space, I could always give Kabuki or Genji a home :D Them angry looking creatures ahahahhah.

Yuka DID try to change her mind when I had to confirm her move-out date, but I reloaded that shit so fast. I hated Yuka, I don't even really know why. I think I was just frustrated about obtaining dreamies and took it out on her. But she found a good home in the end so that's good.

How do you even make a Snowboy. I made one once when I was making a Snowmama and he gave me a furniture piece, and again when I was making a Snowpapa and he was suicidal or something and disappeared. I haven't been able to make one when I actually try. Is it magic. As for the Snowtyke, I think the one thing I do have is the matryoshka.

I looooove Genji a lot, but I think he would be good trade fodder, I had him in Wild World, and my dream jock villager is Bam, so I'll have to get him go one day. Not so sure about Kabuki, don't remember his popularity, so I'd be glad to give him to you when he finally moves on up!

Oh! Do you have the dynamic painting? Redd had one the other day so I bought it, but I already have it in my gallery.

Aaaaaah so there is a trick to that if they change their mind! Reset-fu! I had a feeling about that. I was kind of like that with Rocket, her home being a potential project spot didn't help. Good to hear Yuka went to a home!

Snowboys are really difficult sob. The base is suppose to be to your ears? Like to your ear level, it's very hard for me to see and I tend to mess up the head a lot. Ah damn you have the matryoshka too XD I need to try to get the other things, I thought I was going to get a snow bunny but it was a lie e__e Snowtykes are also weird

He looks so cool! My jock in town is Drift who is a frog, he's cute. In general I'm looking for a new cranky villager, I'm going to let Wart Jr go, he gave me his picture twice so XD

I don't have the dynamic painting! That would be an awesome help! Man it feels like I haven't seen Redd in a while... for art.

I managed to make another good Snowboy! Yay! Like 9 more items to go, I guess.

And do you have the graceful painting? I have a spare one of those, and now Redd's selling another one, too. Jerk.

The second Snowtyke I made gave me another matryoshka, too, pain in the A. :/ But we can definitely meet up sometime today for the painting exchange!

And I finally decided to just get rid of both Klaus and Beardo! I was sick of Klaus asking every five minutes, so he's gone now (do miss him a bit), Beardo hopefully next.

I seriously DON'T get the snowtyke. While I was trying to get a snow bunny, I ended up getting a small igloo which is not really BAD but yeah not what I wanted. I'll be on after lunch so maybe in a couple hours :)

Yeah sometimes letting them go is hard. We'll miss him! I'm trying to get Bangle and Wart Jr to leave next. If you have an account, I recommend this thread. I lurked in this forum for a couple of days and I got lucky!

ETA: I'm on now! Want me to open gates? I have two Snowpapas if you're still doing bingo

I think I have a theory about the Snowtyke.

It's possible we kept getting multiple matryoshkas because even if we thought the snowpeople we made were imperfect, to the snowtyke, they were fine.

I have a perfect snowpapa (since he gave me a card), a snowmam whose head is too big she doesn't even ask for snowflakes, and a snowboy who didn't give me anything in the mail but said I was close. The snowtyke only said his mother looked funny. So even if the snowboy was not perfect for me to get something, he was okay that the snowtyke didn't say anything.

If it's true, I'll get a snowbunny tomorrow so we'll see!
