Happy birthday grammarcub and mommy!
Today's not a happy one, per se. My Grandma, aka Grandma Bette, aka Mommy's Mommy passed away from complications from pancreatitis at about 10:00 last night. I'm headed back to spokane for a couple of days to help get everything in order on Saturday. It will be good to see the family, but I'm a little miffed that the only opportunities I get to go home anymore are when there's some event marking the end of something...last time it was for Andrea's graduation party, and now I get to go home for whatever funeral/memorial they're planning for Grandma. At least she's not suffering in the ICU like she had been for the last 2 months.
