Kapcon 21: Requiescat in pace

Kapcon is done for another year and this was the hardest one yet for me. Writing the flagship LARP for 77 players was a mammoth task, and only other people who have worked on a similar sized game can really appreciate just how much work it really takes. Add on to that the LARP administration, planning the set dressing, and still having a hand in ( Read more... )

You certainly deserve a break. It's not uncommon for organisers to take a year off to just play after their time in the spotlight.

Your hard work has been noticed and appreciated. Writing the LARP and doing Kapcon Admin work in the same year certainly counts as self-destructive - particularly given the small size of your LARP team (both a blessing and a curse). Surviving with both your health and sanity is definately counted as a win!

I missed you in the wrestling, but hope you plan on just coming along as a player to other Wellington 'cons this year.

Thanks guys, I'll certainly be looking to play (or run) every round next year to reinvigorate my enthusiasm.
