STORIES

I feel really bad for anyone who lives in New Orleans or the surrounding area right now. Katrina is wiping out that entire city. I keep checking the news periodically to see how deep in water it is.

Currently I am at Verity's house. She and Sophie went to Nashoba to meet with guidance and I was too lazy to go. I've been watching Season Two of the OC on DVD and playing with Rambo, who is an absolute screw ball.

So last night I read an article in a magazine. It was about a man in Iowa that watched a family for three nights in the woods with his night vision goggles. On the fourth night he killed all the family except the two kids. He raped the kids and killed the boy and the police caught him before he could kill the little girl. The part that disturbs me the most is the fact that he watched them through their windows for three nights with night vision goggles. It makes me want to vomit.

::STORY TIME::

About two years ago I came home from a late movie to a completely dark and deserted house. I thought that was a little strange because my mom said she would wait up for me to come home. I take my shoes off, walk upstairs, and turn the hall light on. There was a trail of blood on the stairs and blood smeared all over the white walls. I stood there for about 3 minutes, not knowing what the hell I should do. I walked into my mom's room and turned on the light, expecting to find dead bodies. Then my cell phone rang and I picked up and it was my mom.

I think reality hit right around this point because I collapsed on the ground and started to scream and cry and panic. Turns out my brother had cut himself badly on a knife, had run around the house, waving his hand wildly through the air (which explains the blood splatters all over the wall), and was taken to the emergency room.

OH! Here's another story.

So my dad and a bunch of family and I are camping in Montana. On one particular night, I woke up around 2 in the morning and really had to go to the bathroom so I woke Kate up and made her go with me. On our way back from the bathrooms we hear an extremely loud grinding noise coming from the direction of our camp site. Kate and I are booking it back - like flat out adrenaline sprint. I can hear horrible screaming and shouting in the distance.

When we finally made it back to camp I see my entire family out of their tents, screaming and crying and there is Kate and I's tent, which had been run over by the back wheel of a bus. Everyone had heard it happen and came running out and when they called our names and when we didn't answer they all assumed we had been killed. Then my dad and the manager of the camp site got in a fight and my dad punched him. Our tent was completely mangled. It was so chaotic.

And that is how my bladder saved my life.
