Muh Weekend

So this weekend I had with my sisters. My parents left to Ohio for a benefit for my uncle Rick. I think they made somewhere around 3-5k, which is awesome, because I don't think that their financial status is super awesome right now.

Anyway, I worked both Friday and Saturday. On Friday, when I came home, Kat was babysitting and Chelse was making Hamburger Helper and blasting music. Some weird music... I finished the food for her and told her about my day at work and then we watched Spirited Away. Kat came home somewhere in the middle. Chelse kept reciting lines from the movie about a second before they happened. First off, I was surprised because they weren't like... catch phrases or anything, just lines. And we haven't watched that movie in forever. And second, I was annoyed because having her recite lines right before they're said in the movie was annoying...

Anyway, Saturday morning, I had to drop Chelse off at a birthday sleepover party and then Kat and I dropped off the sake decanter at the pottery place to have it reglazed. I was happy that they said it looked really good. We did spend a few hours on it. After that we went home, I made chicken and mashed potatoes and Kat called to see if Amanda could come over. We colored for a while, but I had to leave to work.

There is this kid at work named Sasha who I find to be adorable. He looks kind of awkward at first, and he is awkward at first. Very shy. It made me feel like an extrovert, which I am anything but. Anyway, he has the cutest/wierdest smile. I think he's still in high school. But at the end of the day while we were waiting for some people to leave, I was playing with these little knick-knack wind up toys and he came over and was like, "this is the best one" and pulled out a blue robot. It like swings it's arms in circles and wiggles back and forth. I died laughing.

When I went home, we watched Alice in Wonderland (Kat and I) and then went to bed pretty much.

On Sunday, we had a cookout! Woot! I'm happy to say I was the genius behind this excellent plan. We made a fire, which is more difficult than it looks, and roasted some hot dogs and marshmellows and had some soda for dinner. Then went inside and played Silent Hill 2 for a while. I forgot how frightening that game is sometimes. The riddles are hard. And Chelse figured one of them out and I still don't know how. It was a clock and the riddle was, "The scars of the past will heal for the future" or something and you had to move the hands of the clock around. There was obviously a rust stain on the six, but where Chelse got 9.15 from, I have no idea. But it worked... And I hope I have made them as afraid of Pyramid Head as I am.
