refreshed at last
4-8 Aug 05: roommate and her husband's wedding. ;) beautiful. there's this picture i took of minhui and james' "first dance" that i thought was lovely, but then when i zoomed in on them... it seems like they are kissing! yuck! haha... no, it's sweet. i should upload it for them, but since i'm not so tech savy (relatively speaking), maybe i'll just email it to them (o_-)
12-14 Aug 05: chez aunt @seattle. in the vicinity of her beach house, i bought $3 shorts! and we purchased fresh oysters off the street for cheap. yum!
14-21 Aug 05: alaskan cruise. we lost one couple at skagway (they somehow just didn't get back on the boat! but fear not, they were found again and sent back to us port... the last port =\), but gained somewhat of another couple somewhere along the way (and boo on being the 4th third wheel when i could have been sightseeing in seattle!). trip highlights include kayaking, rafting, seeing bald eagles, whales spouting water (though i didn't actually see the whales), jumping salmon, a starfish midmeal with his stomach hanging out, and touching a clear jellyfish.
and now: home at last... =) i haven't slept as soundly anywhere as in my own bed. home food tastes more delicious than i remembered. i haven't felt safer than i feel when with my family. and my boy, i missed him.
