living in greensboro has been nice so far, but i gotta get a move on... i've decided to leave this death trap behind and move into a house next to the CSX mainline in athens georgia... trains stop right behind the house!!!!!!!!!! you can't beat that, ever!

aight, well... your best bet to get to athens georgia would be... to take the VRE commuter train to the last stop in manassas (read thru your crew change you'll find the directions in there) virginia... find the crew change spot... it ain't hard it's by the big office building at the end of the yard... not a big yard either... around 4am there is USUALLY (sometimes it's early, sometimes it's late) a train that will stop BRIEFLY for a QUICK QUICK crew change... then proceed to atlanta with crew changes in: lynchburg VA, linwood NC, atlanta GA (maybe one in SC before atlanta)... then call 706 202 7069 and ask for emily, it's my fiance and we'll come pick you up in atlanta since it's only 50 miles from athens... ok another alternative: you could catch from bayview to HAMLET NC... then ask about a train going to augusta georgia (and if you catch one to there then hitch the 2 hours west from there to athens) or better: just ask about a train headin to atlanta! any atlanta trains will go right thru athens and some may stop before the bridge that goes over the river... but if you get off within 50 miles of athens we'll pick ya up...
