Look, an entry!

It's been a little while since I've updated. Let's see... what has happened this month...

1) The big move on April 1st went quite smoothly. Emily's parents helped us out, which we greatly appreciated. Apparently, in order to rent a van you must be the driver, be at least 25 years of age, and all of that jazz. So, Phil rented the van and we paid him back later (of course). The day went without a hitch, with Scott, Emily, Dirk, and Em's family helping us. It was our first time seeing our exact apartment and we were immediately enamoured. When we finally got all of our stuff moved in more friends came over, and we made everyone some dinner and "cie" (cake-pie, frosted apple pie with dinosaur sprinkles). It took us a little time to get fully settled but now we're nice and snug.

2) Exams. Thank god we're finally done with all of that! They all went well, though we don't have our marks back quite yet. I'm looking forward to seeing my average. All I know is that it's at -least- a B. Steven has a B+ in one course, but he hasn't found out about the rest. He probably has great marks in those, too, since he's so adept at those subjects.

3) Easter. Scott came over and we had a big, elaborate meal. Appetizers of honeydew-ham sailboats and croissants, a hearty meal of honey-glaxzed ham and all sorts of veggies. And of course, chocolate eggs for dessert! (Thank you Martha Stewart, for the instructions. You may be a convict and sell disgustingly overpriced goods, but at least you have good recipes)

4) We got Gerbils! We started out with two cute little munchkins (Bit and Byte) in a little tank. Sadly, though, since we had bought them at a very young age, one came down with wet-tail (chronic diarhea) and died. We were pretty shocked, but when we brought him back to the store, we decided to get a few more gerbils, hoping to introduce them for poor traumatized Bit. When we got to the next store, though, they were all so damn cute! So we bought two boys and two girls. Only when we got home did we find out we couldn't introduce the girls to Bit, since they'd already bonded with eachother. So now we have three tanks and five gerbils, and we just can't stop playing with them. They are SO cute, and SO smart. Active little buggers, too, they've completely renovated their tanks with tunnels and burrows.

5) I had two job interviews for Astral Media, the people in charge of the movie networks and of Family Channel and Teletoon. If I get this job I will be paid 12 dollars an hour, I will be required to answer questions from customers, and I will receive the movie networks for free! Please please please let me get this job!
