1. Ookiku Furikabutte: Number five, clean up batter Tajima Yuichiro! Come on, who doesn't like Tajima? His enthusiasm and will to "make it to the top, genmitsu ni" is infectuous. But hell, all of the Oofuri characters are love.
2. Samurai Champloo: This is the only show where I like all three of the main characters. Jin's intensity, Mugen's will to live, Fuu's determination--all are well rounded characters.
3. Ruroni Kenshin: Kenshin. How could I not like Kenshin? He's a character who I identify with. His character is quite complicated.
4. Samurai Girl: Real Bout High School: Ryoko Mitsurugi. 'Nuff said.
5. Mirage of Blaze: Naoe, Naoe. What a twisted, overprotective guy. XD He's damn sexy as well. LOVE MOB.

8. Cowboy Bebop: Spike Spiegal, cowboy for hire, avid Jeet Kun Do practicioner, and a history with the mafia that's as blood-soaked as a Sam Peckenpah film. He's always been my favorite.
9. Outlaw Star: Suzuka is freakin' awesome. Samurai swordswoman FTW.
10. Mononoke: Oh come one, who doesn't love the Medicine Seller? Sexy, mysterious, and capable of stopping demons and evil spirits in their tracks. Plus, he's pretty wise for a fey-looking guy.
11. The Gokusen
12. Gundam Wing: Pilot 02, Duo Maxwell! Deathsythe Hell, w007. Complicated character--he hid behind his joker persona in order to cope with the horrors of war.
13. Nana
14. Bleach: Urahara Keisuke. His attitude, his lazy manner, and his ability to kick major ass. Winner. Plus, UraharaYoruichi FTW.
15. Black Lagoon: Revy, the smartmouthed heat-packin' woman with one of the most irritable natures to ever grace an anime, is certainly a character I identify with far too well in terms of attitude. Capable of taking on a whole ship of soldiers by herself, she is not one to mess with. Super cool.
