I won't be on the interwebs as much, since my laptop Gato Libre just shorted out its cord. Literally. It went up in a shower of sparks, and after I pulled the plug, the cord had become an hero. So I'm off to get another one. Poor Gato, he's been fighting the good fight for four years now.
Next off: Orphaned Works Bill.

Bam. See, always pays to do your research. When this thing hit the DA site, and everyone flipped a shit, I was one of the few who looked at this and went "Haaaang on. What if this is a scam or totally not true at all?"
It always pays to be skeptical. So no, Orphaned Works is NOT going to steal all of your fanarts or your student portfolio. It will NOT inspire art thieves or tracers to multiply like AIDS-ridden rabbits (there is enough of them on DA and Sheezeh anyway) And it will NOT come into your house and kick down your door and bust in there like Mr. T and take all your sketches while hog-tying you and slinging you into an unmarked van that will take you to some unknown prison for animu artists. SRSLY.
So there is no need to buy a dog or BALEET your entire DA gallery in protest or spam Congress--jeez, if you're going to write Congress about something, write asking them to fix some domestic social issues, or about the war in Iraq, or about the Church of Scientology. *Throws up hands in the air and mutters*
