Live Action RK Movie? Aight.
Ssssssooooooo apparently the news is that Sato Takeru (Kamen Rider Den-O) is going to play Himura Kenshin in a new live-action Ruroni Kenshin movie, according to this site here.
Actually, I think it's a pretty good choice, considering the character of Kenshin. He wasn't too bad in Mr. Brain, and I do want to see how good he is in that fairly recent samurai drama about Ryoma. (Although I'm rather more interested in the other, older actors for that series, \o/)
The author of Ruroni Kenshin is also insisting that it be produced by a local studio, despite the fact that there have been several offers from Hollywood to produce it. So there's a good chance that it will be faithful to the original.
Also, I'm watching Kakuranger now. God those guys are so doofy.
