THE CITY
Perhaps proving that fate has a paticular sense of humor when it comes to her, Nike not only gets adoped into a family of two... quite unwillingly. Not only that, but she runs into Marcello again, after three years, due to him taking an internship in the country. Japan is somewhat of a--- complicated place for Nike.
APARTMENT
One bedroom and tiny they don't even have a proper wash room. The family has to go to public wash houses in order to get clean. How they don't manage to drive themselves insane is beyond Nike's knowledge. There's also the neighbor Sui Hashimoto, an older woman who was family friends with Shinji and Yoshie's family, she serves as a watchful eye. Her affinity towards healing magic also comes in handy on many occasions.
THE REBELLION
Something Nike stumbles on in Tokyo is a small hidden resistance force budding in the underground. Seeking to overhaul the government, Nike's interest is piqued considering she had grown up with the American mythology of "the Republic". This is where she begins to get her ideas for a new type of government for her country and her people.
