Why is Refined Sugar More Expensive then Raw?

Nothing brings out the miser more than a Japanese summer. The sweat is near constant and everything you touch soon has a sticky grime. It's permanently overcast and when there is sunshine there is no shade. It often feels like walking through warm pea soup (great in wintertime!). Even a cold shower provides little relief. Could probably be cut and paste into any city. Lately I have found the trek into work near impossible and all can be blamed on stupidity. If there isn't a car accident involving a car, a pedestrian is sure to have got hit. If that is not the case, good luck getting into the parking lot at the subway hub, and once you manage that have fun lining up to get into the actual subway. Of course once on the subway don't expect for it to move, certainly not the entire way downtown, there is sure to be a problem with the signals or someone on the tracks. Don't even get me started with the streetcar, at least it's not winter and the damn things are not constantly becoming disconnected from the power due to ice.

Long live working remotely, if only it was more acceptable.

On another note, if you move to Hong Kong perhaps I will move in next door.

Ah hah hah... I keep telling people TTC stands for 'Total Transit Catastrophe' (patent pending, patent pending, patent pending). Thanks for your comments Mark, let's open ourselves a noodle shop in Causeway Bay.

Oh, and Exiled was ridiculously over-the-top but hardly unexpected. Fun movie anyway.
