Autumn/Winter has settled over Tokyo and I'm once again sick- with what seems eerily like phnemonia. I have a constant hacking cough that follows me everywhere. This was supposed to be my favourite season dammit! Nonetheless I still feel alright though the look of worry of four students trapped in a confined space with me as I spew uncountable microbes into our precious air supply is a precious one.
I've been looking at Canadian gov't jobs online and I'm torn. Do I go for the gold and glory after my Master's or do I just sit back with an easy Foreign Service job that pays a measly 45k? I'm still on track for leaving next May though I need to start saving more money. I've got a meet and greet for a private group lesson tomorrow that pays about $80CDN for an hour and a half, which is decent. I need more.
The picture above is the logo I made for a high school computer science project that I remixed after thinking of what a cool game should always include; lots of guns and a post-apocalyptic word for starters. I shudder to think of how many of my projects never get off the ground. I need an assistant or something. Anyway, I posted this mostly because someone posted a comment that included the words 'nerd' and 'archive'.
Less than two months until I get back to Toronto.
