Saturday I got all registered for KCU. All my classes set and ready to go. Found my dorm room. Found my mail box. Got my email address.
Today I withdrew.
You won't be seeing me at KCU in the fall.
Now there are many many reasons and trust me, I thought/prayed long and hard about this. I know this is God's will as scary as it is. As far as where I will be going, I've applied to Indiana State (Terre Haute) and Taylor (Upland) and have been in contact. Getting into Indiana State is basically a sure thing. I really want to get into Taylor though. It's a christian university, and it's all around awesome. It will be hard seeing as how they're having a record enrollment this year, so there might not be room for me. If I can't get in this year, I'll go to ISU for a year and then transfer. Both have great music programs. Either way, things should be good. I was going to wait to withdraw from KCU until I got accepted to either school, but I was told to go ahead and do it because of all the FAFSA stuff that needs to go through.
Figuratively, I just jumped out of a plane without a parachute. But I'm trusting God. Maybe He doesn't always want us to have a parachute. Maybe obeying and letting Him take care of the rest is what He prefers. He's never really asked me to do anything too crazy before (or maybe He did and I just didn't do it) so this is a step for me in many ways. He will make a way.
