A good idea?  Bad idea?  I don't know yet...  but it sure is fun.

An excellent idea. It's a great casual gaming system, and Wii sports at least is perfect for friends/parties. You just have to be careful; there's a lot of games out there that misuse the movement idea of the Wii remote and are no fun at all.

OMG! Run to get RockBand! NOW! Run! It is the most killer app and the most fun thing you can do with your Wii--on your own or with a group.
