Life is good (and sunny!).
Work is going well, I am still trying to find my groove- but it is getting closer and closer. The show is looking (and sounding) fantastic and I am so excited for it. It is going to be amazing.
I have been craving a trip to a theme park since moving down here, and I am going to get it. On Monday I am driving to see Jason, Nathan, and Anthony and we will probably end up at Universal Studios, since they live so close. It will be good to have a little fun and see those boys- I've missed those boys. And I've missed my friends, the people who know me- so it will be nice to see some friendly faces.
It is weird to me that we open Ragtime in three weeks. It feels like I just got here, but it has been two and a half weeks. The days are long (around 12 hours at the theater) but they are good. If there is one thing that I've learned it is that the way I do things is pretty much the norm. I mean, I have things I would do differently, but overall things are run in a similar style to how I have run rehearsals and productions.
Santa Maria is not the exciting town I had hoped, but that's okay because I don't get much time to go out and about. And if I really want, the ocean beach is only 20 minutes north or Santa Barbara is an hour to the south. Sleep usually wins, however, when I have down time.
That's really all I have. I miss my friends and Bellingham and Washington- but I am surviving. Which is good, because who knows when I'll be back? Okay. Time for bed.
'night! :-)
