My Tai Chi instructor used to tell me, when things that I didn't necessarily plan or want to happen, happened, that the best thing to say to yourself is "Ah... won't it be interesting to see where THIS leads me.." It's worked so far, anyway.
After graduation, after the summer, I'm probably going to be reckless and hopeful and move to Texas -- with no idea where I'll be living, not really knowing anyone down there, and not having much income and yet a load of school debt. ^^; But won't it be interesting to see if it works.
Good luck. If you're still down South when I throw caution to the wind, we can go get a drink.

The hardest part of leaving, is just that leaving...
You have your shit in a pile, you always did when I was around you. Sure life is chaotic in a move ( I know, 9 years in the military teaches you things), but think of it as an adventure!
