So, the holidays are done....
Let's see here, have'nt updated in a while, and have all the wonderful holidays to go over. Where to start, where to start...
First, let's start with the job I had. I had this 2 month temp job at Cingular to upgrade a bunch of Office 2003 installations, which is easy enough. Unless, that is, they give us a list that is completely inaccurate, and have all members of your team actually work. Which, of course, was not the case. For us, we had 1 member of our team be completely lazy, which was bad enough. But, then, about 2 weeks til the end of the project, they give us a whole new list of about 400 computers to do, which they should have given us from the beginning. Well, long story short, I ran my ass ragged (yeah, I was the only one actaully doing most of the work), and we got the job done. My reward? Well, I am unemployed again. Go me.
Christmas itself was cool, got a bunch of cool shit. ExciteTruck is a lot more fun than it has any right to be (though, honestly, it feels....shallow.) Elite Beat Agents is a lot of fun, even though the soundtrack at times is meh. Thanks for Blazing Saddles, Chris, never ever can go wrong with Mel Brooks. Ever. Mel Brooks is made of win. I have a $50 gift card to Target, that might be FF12 for me. After all, Ace can't have a FF game without me having it. Ever.
Oh, Ace, Wario Ware for the Wii has 12 player multiplayer. Yeah. I am SO getting that.
As for New Years, I just got a 6 pack of Sam Adams, and got drunk. I was so happy to see 2006 end. That year sucked hard. So, good ridance to 2006, let's hope 2007 is not as bad.
As for me, well, chances are in March I will be back in RI to stay. Fuck this Washington shit. Fuck it in the ear. I am sick of being bored, of the rain, and, of people not being able to deal with the weather. A couple weeks ago there was a wind storm, people lost power for 2 weeks because of it. That is stupid. These people out here are pussies.
