I will never work in this town again
Did my last stand up gig in Christchurch a few hours ago. I MCed the night to varying degrees of success. The highlight was being roasted by Bigger Than Beetles: who sampled bits of my previous sets, remixing them as a funky, bass-heavy a-capella number. I also finished up by running through the acts while doing roly-polies around the stage. Suffice it to say, I had a blast.
Not long to go before phase one of the big shift. Oamaru on December 22nd, then Melbourne on January 12th.
In a word: Meep.
