blaydon...what do you base your beliefs on? the non-liberal media? given your stance on how any person (i assume you arn't just being biased against democrats) decides their beliefs, you must have access to an entirely differant library of political resources. have you been hanging out with president bush?

I have been republican my whole life and getting to know Bush's policies and the things he has lied about and screwed up, [i,e. healthcare, Iraq, illegal aliens, the economy]

You need to drop the whole liberal media. That's all you ever use as an arguement. Most news media, except FOX, who actually praises your conservative bias, is non-bias. Most lose their jobs and or get highly scrutinized for such.

Maybe if you were truely fighting the war on terror, not the war on Iraq, I would have more faith in Bush. September 11th, was a direct relation to Al-quida and Osama bin Laden. We got Saddam, great, but that's not really what we needed to go after. I don't feel any safer that we got Saddam.

Everyone seems to be an expert on politics and foreign policy except Bush.

I'm starting to wonder if he went AWOL in school as well.

Grow up and have some respect for yourself...and put some pants on. Just messing with ya. But I do got to agree with the guy who you responded to. As a journalism major here at Ship, I have been part of many classroom discussions with professors and guest speakers, about where the news media falls politcally.
While ideally, the media should be objective when reporting news, it's impossible to be completey unbiased. And it's no secret that the media traditionally falls onto the the left side.
I am not saying I am voting for Bush. I am not saying I am voting for Kerry. I actually can say that both sides disgust me.
But it is rather comical to read some of these responses on why Bush is bad. It's just sometimes I forget that Livejournal is where everyone goes to get the important breaking news and inside scoop. LIVEJOURNAL HAS CRACKED THE CASE!!
