Wow - my spring break is really long and easy this time around. It's been hot for March today, so I've been taking it easy. My parents returned in the morning, bearing souvenirs and the usual tales, and we all had a good laugh about wearing Easter bonnets without each other.

I met the guys at the baseball diamond a couple of blocks from my house so we could practice a bit. We're all real excited about the upcoming season, and a lot of us have been playing together since we were kids on Little League. It felt good to get out and throw the ball around. I've been working on my curve balls as usual - as long as I have that down, we're gonna kick butt from Anaheim to Irvine and back again. Well, I guess we'll need the rest of the team for that too. Heh heh.

We had some pizza and soda and stuff at Nino's before calling it quits. I saw Betty Trask (good friend of Grace's) and her boyfriend Jeremy Adams there, and she said they were both going to Grace's house on Thursday. They offered me a ride down, but Dave Crewe's already taking care of me in that department, and besides, he might be able to get his brother's van! It has a custom-installed waterbed in the back. I'm not kidding! A little excessive for my personal taste, but still kinda cool.

Since I need some good vacation reading, I picked up Stephen King's latest book, The Shining. I saw the movie of Carrie and I really liked 'Salem's Lot, so I'm looking forward to this one. It seems interesting. I think I'll grab some more lemonade and start on it now.

Hope everyone out there's doing great! Catch ya on the flipside!
