Monday, March 6, 1978. Early.
Sunday was great. I spent most of it down at the rifle range, practicing my shots. We have a competition coming up in a few weeks and I wanna "knock 'em dead."
We didn't end up going to Suzie Tyrell's party after all, because Annette got sick. Suzie wanted me to come alone, but I told her I didn't think it was fair to go and have fun without Annette, since she'd wanted to attend the party so badly. It turns out that hardly anyone showed up at Suzie's anyway, so she's probably rescheduling it for an upcoming Saturday. I'm sure Annette will feel better by then.
I need a good book to read. I like reading maybe more than most kids my age, because I think it's important to keep on learning, and fun besides - so long as it doesn't distract from other things too much. I mostly like mysteries, Westerns, sci-fi, stuff like that. Anyone have any suggestions?
