Life keeps rolling on, as it always does. Not much new to report on this end, other than the fact that I'm alive and healthy and having a blast. I've been taking loads of pictures for my "Aspects of the Sun" project. It's for my Photography class. I did "Part I" of the series in time for the midterm, so now I'm working on "Part II." Now, taking photos of the sun isn't as easy as you think. I have to concentrate on shadow just as much as I do on light in order to make a balanced composition. So far, though, I really like the way it's all turning out.
We won our first baseball game of the season last week, though - that's definitely worth reporting. But nobody was surprised that we won against Fullerton. Our next game is against Fairview, and that may prove more difficult. I have a lot of confidence in our team, and my pitches have been solid, so I'm sure there's nothing to worry about.
Along similar lines, both Grace and her best friend Betty have been cast as leads in the school musical, and they're super excited. I think they're doing South Pacific. Grace was cast as the nurse character and Betty is the island woman. They both have terrific voices and I look forward to seeing their efforts come May.
Lots of homework to do tonight, so I better keep it brief. Hope things are great wherever you may roam.
