Fanmix Ahoy!

This is what happens when I’m allowed to get bored. I usually make music videos for the fandoms I like. I hear a piece of music that suits them, I make a video. Seen as I can’t do that with GO, I went and made a fanmix. This is likely the first of three, I’ll do one for Aziraphale and one for the pairing. But here’s my Crowley one, enjoy!

I AM SO GLAD I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO ASSOCIATES THE COREY HART SONG WITH CROWLEY and hopefully not the only one who erupts into hysteric giggles because of it either? (Come to think of it, I already have... Six of these songs. xD)

Also, if you make an Aziraphale mix, I'll love you forever. I've been meaning to do one myself when I finish the C/A mix I've been working on for about ten months now, heh... Because I kind of noticed quite a while back that I've seen plenty of fanmixes for Crowley with or without Aziraphale, but never one for Azi himself... And the poor dear really deserves it. D:

That Corey Heart song makes me bust a gut every time I hear it, it's so freaking RANDOM. Heee we have similar music tastes this is good.

Oh, there will definately be an Aziraphale mix, the poor angel deserves one of his very own, give him some spotlight time.

LMAO, I admit I wouldn't have uploaded it had it not been Bono reminding me of Crowley, no matter how much I like U2. 8D (Btw, if you haven't seen the music video that clip is from, Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me, you have to RIGHT NOW. About two minutes and 50 seconds into the song is EPIC LULZ Good Omens-style...)

I love random 80's music. I love 80's music because most of it is so random. It's a circle of love. 8D Yes it is. :3

Yaey. <3 Excuse my prying, but do you have a plan for this? x'D I mean, as I was thinking about it myself, I realized it's actually harder to make a mix for Aziraphale. Crowley's character is easier to peg into a stereotype that you can find in modern music, while Azi's isn't. Plus, this might just be me though, I find the atmosphere of the songs just as important as the lyrics, so I can't consider anything for Azi that isn't accoustic-y or with a classical sound. XD

OMFG YAEY. <3 (Double yay, as no one in my age seems to know U2... Not that you're my age, but still. XD) I almost died when I saw the video for the first time. I have laughed so loud only on a handful occassions before. 8D

It also kind of helps that the majority of my favourite artists and bands made career or were founded in the 80's. XD Exceptionally few good artists have popped up since the twentyfirst century arrived, though. :<

Hee. Oh, I was fortunate enough to hang out with friends who had good music tastes. Hee, yes, man, I'm going to have to youtube it to see it again, it's a really fantastic video.

I agree, and most of these new artists are just copying what those before them did anyway. I've nearly curled up and died at a few cover versions *shudder*

I dooo. I also have a bunch of LP's, alas, with nothing to play them on, though. I'll have to get a cheap tunrstyle from somewhere. Ooooh or one of those funky things you can plug into your computer to convert them into mp3s.

More than I ever had then. Most people in my class listen to whatever's playing on the radio, whenever this guy who's somehow managed to be quite popular and have somewhat alternative taste in music coughs up some older stuff like The Cure or Simon & Garfunkel everybody acts like it's the single most amazing thing ever. I'm always a bit torn about whether I should feel good because they listen to older music with QUALITY, or rage because they find it so incredible that old music is good. :I

Oh god, they did a cover of under pressure? I think a part of my soul just died. There's so few good bands nowadays, 'tis a sad thing.

Yes. It played in the background of some tween movie sis rented, my mum was seriously upset as well when she heard it. David Bowie is the only artist she's idolized, lol, so she thought it an abomination unto whatever God of music there is. XD

True, it's tragic. The only ones I can mention straight away are Editors and Modest Mouse...

I'M NOT OF LEGAL AGE, SO I HAVE RIGHT TO EXPENSIVE CHRISTMAS PRESENTS. 8D But I already need a new stereo... Bugger. But a LP/mp3 converter-thingie would complete my ridiculous collection of music equipment. (CD, LP and casette player, plus one of those thingies you plug your iPod into and you have a speaker. XD)
