Say goodbye while you can.
It's Saturday July 15th, 4 days from now I will be putting in my 2 weeks notice at Canadian Tire. If anyone has experience building/repairing bikes, let me know and I will recommend you for the position as I will need to be replaced at that time. Pretty good pay, I get more than most of the managers.
The reason I am leaving? I have decided to pack up and start walking. I want to find who I really am, and expose the songwrite in me. I need to grow and expose myself and become famous, and I am setting out to do that. I am packing a kitbag, a guitar, and walking to Toronto on August 4th. I do plan on coming back for September 4th, but I'll be gone by myself for a month.
All you LiveJournal junkies that are along the way from PEI to Toronto, if you want Todd Stanley naked in your shower and eating your leftovers out of your fridge you should give me your contact information over msn. Anyway I'm pretty excited about it all, I'm going to miss Ashley a lot, and the C-town Crew, and my cat and shit, but I'm going to be fucking famous by the time I get back. I'm going to have a huge party on Saturday, August 3rd somewhere, so that'll be the night to say goodbye if any of you do.
