Random thoughts of the past week or so.
Squirrels really enjoy drinking water the first thing in the morning in the middle of the road where the two halves of pavement meet. One morning, around 8am, I counted 12 squirrels doing this. It was also a good morning for other animal sightings as well. The rabbits where out in force. One rabbit must count as two squirrels because I came upon 6 bunnies.
The other even, Wednesday around 6:50 pm, I saw two groundhogs chomping away on some lovely green grass. I thought it was odd to see two gh's together like that. Well, when I drove next to them, one took off through the heavy vegetation, across a stream, and into the lower portion of a old barn. All of this while the second gh didn't miss a beat eating the tasty grass. Two very different personalities? Or, a deaf and blind gh? One shall never know.
The next two weekends I am off Jeep racing. This weekend I'm using my brother's, E, Jeep. I am hoping to do better with it than last time out. The following weekend I may or not be using my own. I am waiting on some parts to "upgrade" my motor and give me more power! New parts are due mid-week next week. It is cutting it very close though. *fingers crossed*
