Time goes by so slowly...
But only when you are bored. Today we've watched the movies "Seven" and "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" and it's only 4:25pm right now! I really should start in with the laundry!! Anyway...
We stayed home at Christmas as all of our family is in the same city except my youngest brother Ted. He is in Calgary, Alberta and even though he usually gets to come at Christmas, he just started a new job and had to work over the holidays. It totally drives me nuts that we do the same thing every year. Christmas Eve we go to my Trent's sister Wendy's house. Christmas morning we open gifts with our girls, then rush off to Trent's Moms to open gifts there, then we go to either of my brother's houses or my Mom's apartment for Christmas dinner and more presents. Then Boxing Day we always spend the entire day at Trent's Mom's again! I just hate my in-laws. Isn't that original? Ugh! They are the most self-centered, egocentric people I've ever met. Next year when our house additions are done, I am having the people over to my house that I actually want to spend time with. I know I shouldn't be such a bitch, but I really can't stand those people. They are all: "Oh, my kid did this, aren't they the most exceptional children ever"? Brag, brag, brag!!! I actually only spend a few hours at the Mother-in-law's and then went home to lie down. I actually had more fun by myself watching Supernatural than I did with them playing cards. Sad.
I got two new tattoos over the holiday. I'll take pictures of them when they aren't so scabby and post them. One is of my three girls first initials, that just also happens to be the same as a motorcycle company logo so that made me happy. The other is the double bow and arrow dark-hunter mark from Sherrilyn Kenyon's novels. That one was just for fun and it makes me happy!
