Okay, I guess I gotta post. Promised someone I'd put my week on here.
Up to date- I've been having a heart problem since March of 2014. Had a heart ultra sound plus other tests and the cardiac clinic doctor wanted me to go to Bellevue for a cardiac cauterization clinic consult. Apparently most the NYC send their heart patients there.
Anyway, the nurse practitioner talks about doing a cauterization in the near future. Then hooks me up to the electrocardiogram and my heart was beating too fast. So they hung on to me for a few days.
I spent most of Monday into Tuesday in the ER. Got feed- real meals and even hot breakfast! French Toast! Finally was taken up to my room Tuesday evening. Got pajama bottoms to go with the backwards and frontwards gowns. Free TV! So despite reading and reading the one book I brought with me, I wasn't that bored. Even got a lovely parting gift of a blue vinyal bag with a tooth brush, tooth paste, moisturizer, bodywash/shampoo, etc.
Anyway, they took away one med, gave me a new one that seems to work and it turns out I don't need the cauterization as an ultra sound there didn't show any damage or weird heart wall movement.
