i got shit done this weekend.
friday night i did 6 hours of homework.
maybe that's lame, but i'm basically all caught up for finals week.
i did an entire chapter of tesl work and my cards for bar tending.
i also cleaned my room and picked shit up around the apartment.
saturday i bar tended and babysat.
did you know that bar tending jobs at the hilton start at $15/hr... plus tips?
shit son.
sunday i babysat some more.
i bought a new bike. $70 for a 1972 vintage schwinn varsity.
it's yellow, i named her rachel ellington III
i spent some time outside, worked on details for my camping trip in may,
did a little more studying, went to jewel and got stuff, cleaned the kitchen,
cleaned the bathroom, cleaned the fireplace (whew),
nathan and i spent an hour cleaning and polishing rachel,
made bowl cake for family night, i also did laundry... but i did it in the tub.
i had stuff to do and i wasn't about to spend about an hour at the laundromat.
now there are clothes all over my room haha.
we figured out the charcoal grill finally and amazing burgers were had.
my apartment smelled like pot last night and this morning..
mostly just the kitchen, thanks dq employees who smoke all the pot.
lots of extra pot on 420... nasty nasty smell.
my new bike takes 15 minutes less to get to work than my old bike did.
it now takes me the same amount of time to get to work as it did when
i lived just a mile away. i win.
best day ever.
