This is supposed to be spring break

Hm, so I haven't updated since research was approved.  Not all that strange, really, considering the amount of things on my plate right now.

Research has been rolling along, we tested everybody successfully (twice) and then have been training for the past three weeks.  This week is the last week, then next week we test them again and see if anything has changed.  I really do find this interesting, but I think I would have been more interested had somebody else done the research and then I read about it.  I guess that's not entirely true, the process is interesting too, but it's just that there have been so many hassles I have a hard time seeing how it was all worth it.

School is also rolling along, and I've got so much work to do it isn't funny.  Laura and I are doing another project together, which I'm sure will make me tear my hair out, and I have a case report to write and present, and a big group project in management class.  Added to that I've been working on the job search and so have been writing my resume, getting references, emailing back-and-forth with a few different prospects, and the rest of the general craziness that goes along with graduating.  I have a pretty good opportunity that might work out (I'll let you know after the interview) in Detroit at Henry Ford hospital, that looks like it would be ideal for me right out of school.  Cross your fingers that they hire me!!

My sanity through all this is any time I can grab with JR.  We spend a lot of our time just chilling, catching up on exciting tv and devoting quality time to the playstation (yes: DORKS).  We've also been talking about what happens after I graduate, which has culminated in JR going today to check out an apartment in Farmington Hills that looks really great, that would work out perfectly because JR won't have to break his current lease, he can just transfer it.  We've also planned a second trip to Mackinaw just after graduation that will turn out an important announcement, to be sure.  : )

This weekend my family is celebrating my grandpa's 90th birthday, which is wonderful considering that a few years ago I was called at school and rushed home because they thought he was leaving us.  He's much better now, but he still seems somehow more fragile, and I'm so glad he's still here.

So,  to summarize: things are crazy, but good.
