I'm meellllllttingggggg.....
It may actually be possible, I may really melt. It's so hot. Walking to school is equivalent to spending time in a sauna, fully dressed. Then, of course, sitting in class is like being in the freezer. So it's more like I'm going to alternately melt and then freeze.
The internet is doing spectacularly, by which I mean spectacularly poorly. According to the manager, the T1's for the 3rd and 4th floor are completely down. They supposedly were going to be fixed by last night. but that's not the case. The funny part about this is, apparently some people are connected to a different T1 than their floor, so while I have no internet, Laura's is running perfectly. As usual.
School has started and is as hectic as usual. We've got a million projects, Dan is giving us pop-quiz practicals in lab, we still aren't on top of things with our research.....and guard starts this weekend. It's okay, it's a good kind of busy. I mean, it's stressful, and I don't love school, but I think it will be okay. I'm looking forward to guard...even though I'll probably stop looking forward to it as the summer progresses. Although maybe that's not true. I generally have enjoyed teaching in the past. Right now I'm a little worried about how many girls will show up, what kind of experience they'll have, and who will come back next week. We'll have to see.
With the internet down, it's inconvenient to have projects that involve searching GVSU's databases for research articles to summarize and/or critique. Hence me coming to the building on a break from class.
Dammit, I'm going through email withdrawal!
