Perky

Back in high school, I recall having a subject where we were taught about dating.
When I look back at it, it was rather superficial. Dating was taught in a medical and scientific way in which all you have to follow is the scientific method and you'll get the same results every time. After all, a good experiment is replicable right?

Well, we were talking about human beings. Human beings can be quite unpredictable. I really am not sure why were had that lesson - it was not helpful at all anyways.

Our teacher for this subject was someone we called Tooper. The reason for that is because we believe her to be Too Perky for her age. She usually has her hair up, sometimes in a bun or what not. She has an interesting nose as well. It was semi-bulbous, I believe. Her lipstick is always a vibrant shade of pinkish red. If I recall correctly, her body type is that of the apple body type. Then again, it's been years since I last saw her, so I can't be sure.

However, what I CAN be sure of is her voice. It was distinct and would stick to your memory. Tooper has this interesting accent. You can't place it as a dialect in the country nor can we classify it as European or American. It was just...different.

I remember her most when she was saying
"How do you cook siomai?" , "How do you cook the noodles in spaghetti?" and the perennial "Do not dilly-dally".

When Tooper says these things, it sounds like:
How do you c-uh-k sioMAI?
How do you c-uh-k the noooodles in spag-get-ti?
Do nut dihlly-duhlly.

Ah Tooper. But what I wondered most was why she was teaching us something she has not experienced yet?
