Day 11 - Your siblings

My sisters are twins and they're 7 1/2 years older than me. I've convinced myself that I was an accidental child, but my parents would never admit it. Lisa and Jenna did everything together and they still do. They even planned to have their first babies at the same time (their oldest kids are in fact 1 day apart).  They have the twin psychic connection that you read about in books. It's pretty freaky. They excluded me (and tortured me) throughout our childhood, and I was alone through much of my teen years since they left for college when I was starting junior high. Jenna is the more mature of my sisters, kind of standoffish and kind of mean.
Lisa was always a little more fun and rebellious. She taught me a few things about sex and she smoked a joint with me a few years ago during a time of great stress when my dad was in a car crash.  He was T-boned by a truck and pinned in his sedan against a guardrail. It took the firemen 20 minutes to get him out of the car, and he was basically dead when they got to him. I really don't know how he survived. Lisa was so upset by the accident, she couldn't even go into my dad's hospital room. My mom also had a tough time and immersed herself in cooking. Jenna and I took care of him. I took 2 1/2 weeks off work (my entire vacation for that year plus 3 unpaid days) to be with my family, thinking that the time spent helping my dad would bring me closer to my sisters and esp my dad, but it didn't. I helped him eat because he couldn't lift the spoon, I helped him pee because he couldn't undo his pants. I swear he acts like it never happened. Jenna doesn't really act any differently towards me either even though I really tried to patch up whatever went wrong between us.
Jenna has 4 kids, Lisa has 3. They both married investment bankers. They probably would've had a double wedding if my parents had the money for that kind of extravaganza.
