Great Day
Today was an utterly fantastic day, I must say.
The kids got out of school early, so I took them to lunch. After that, we walked around the mall a little to shop. And then I got home and started writing. But not nanowrimo, like I should have been. Oh no.
Anyway, got distracted for a few hours and then realized that my nanowrimo time was slipping away. So I put the other (very bad naughty) writing away and opened my nanowrimo novel around 5 pm. Then I realized that I hadn't been to my weight loss center yet and I had to go because I was out of the nutrition bars. So headed up there and finally got back around 5:45 pm and started writing after getting a quick bite.
I wrote like a mad woman and somehow everything just clicked into place and the scene I was working on just started flowing and it felt a hundred times better than yesterday. I ended up writing a little over 2,000 words in just under two hours. And I reached my goal, which means I can take tomorrow off with no guilt whatsoever! How I did it, I have no idea.
But I am feeling fantastic!
Tomorrow, I head to New York to see ``Henry IV" with Kevin Kline and other various actors. We are staying over night so we don't have to rush and I'm very excited about the whole thing.
