Well, I'd gotten home and oiled my chain, pumped up the tires, then checked the weather. Looks like T-storms and such tomorrow morning and into the afternoon for Saturday. My days off from work are over, weren't that many. An extended New Years I guess. Worked out a bunch and got all sore. Did some work in the studio. Lazed around a bit.
Bought my new camera anyway. Photo place down the road had the previous model Leica with a scratch/dent that they sold me. Even so it wasn't too cheap, but it'll do fine.
I've finished the first 30 pages, which equals 20 when they're scanned/cropped/laid-out in the book. Another 18/6 for the first half done, then it's regroup, back to writing and layouts and start the whole fun process again for the last time.
Not sure what I'll be able to swing print-wise this time. Not sure anything will be ready for STAPLE/NODIY. Maybe something by MoCCA (which now has dates June 6th & 7th 2009 and a different venue, but no reg form yet). Wish I could just print up a bunch and hit the circuit again, but selling outdoor sports gear over the internet doesn't lend itself to getting things printed on the cheap like working for a print shop or photo lab. hah.
Well, off to bed. I took some close-ups of some finished pages and put them up on flickr too...
