Deadline Extension & a word about help_haiti
Hey all,
In light of the catastrophic earthquake that has devastated Haiti, we've decided to push back the deadline for tobreakthespell submissions until 21 FEBRUARY.
We're doing this in large part to call attention to a comm many of you may have seen already called help_haiti. help_haiti is hosting an auction of fannish and other works to raise money for aid organizations involved in rescue, recovery, and rebuilding in Haiti. We hope you'll use this opportunity to get involved with the relief effort, whether by putting your own work up for auction or by bidding on other fans' works; the need for aid right now is absolutely dire, and every tiny bit helps.
If you would like to donate immediately instead of getting involved in the auctions, help_haiti has a link page of reputable organizations here. For more information, ontd_political has a good list of links to news websites as well as more ways you can help here.
