it's hard to say goodbye
Today's my last day working at the library.
It's a sad day, because I've been there nearly four years now. It was a nice break from studying, it forced me to get out of bed, I saw a lot of interesting, bizarre, and downright disturbing books, and I learned the alphabet really, really, really well. I'll miss it.
I am also sad because I'm listening to The Sable Queen by Brian Jacques, the audiobook version. One, because Brian Jacques is dead and now there'll be no more books (other than The Rogue Crew, which won't ever be released in audiobook form, I guess; at least not with BJ's voice).
Two, because listening to Redwall books while working through dinner makes me both hungry and sad.
