There once was a happy-go-lucky eleven year old boy name Alex. One day his daddy decided to have too much to drink and put Alex in the car. Then they crashed into a cement wall, Alex's daddy was fine, but Alex suffered severe Brain Injuries. Though 6 years later Alex is far from what might be considered "normal" he enjoyed many things in life especially his horse back lessons, swimming and Karate. All of these activities were secretly therapeutic to Alex, and helped him with balance, sequencing and "using his words" among other things. Then one day, without any notice the Bastard ass governor decides to cut all the therapy for Alex and everyone else with accident induced brain injuries, as if by some freak chance it was at some fault of these CHILDREN that they had to relearn things that we all take for granted, like walking and talking...and he thinks this is a good idea. Maybe we should strap Baldacci into a car and hit a cement wall and see what he thinks about therapy after that. Just a thought....
