Contrary to what I said in my last entry, I did go to the beach this weekend. Actually, within a couple hours of writing that last one my outlook completely changed. I made plans to go to the beach with 2 girls from my program, Melissa and Brandi, and Oswaldo called me and invited me to a party (although I couldn´t go). But he called!
We went to Manuel Antonio, a small town on the Pacific that is just gorgeous. I don´t usually hang out much with Melissa and Brandi because the two of them do everything together and, although Brandi is really sweet, Melissa is dumber than a coconut and a huge tease. She really got on my nerves by the end, but I didn´t make a big deal of it. And in all I had a great time. I layed on the beach for hours, swam in the ocean and a couple pools, and today we took a horseback riding tour that was a ton of fun. And I saw monkeys. I love the monkeys.
