[When Abarai-kun makes his way into the office that morning, he will notice that at first glance, everything looks the same as it did when he left the previous day.
However, when he gets closer to his desk, he will see that Hattori is missing. Instead, he will see a small pile of dirt and dust next to Vera, in the spot that used to be the home of Hattori.
On that pile is a small note that says,
Abarai-kun,
I apologize for the loss of our dear friend Hattori... so in his honor, I composed a haiku.
Dear Hattori-kun
So cute and full of spinies
He shall stare no more

No worries... Momo has the plant in her quarters and will give him back eventually... :D She can't let Renji mourn for TOO long...]
