URBAN LEGEND?
I don't know if this is true (and it doesn't apply to Oregon because we mail in our ballots) but supposedly if you wear any Obama gear to the polls you'll be turned away for campaigning within X number of feet of a polling location. It's probably an urban legend but I thought I'd put it out there just in case. I do know that in 2000 I registered in Texas to vote when I changed my driver's license and when I went to vote in November they told me I wasn't registered. It could have been a DMV error or it could be a vast republican conspiracy. Who knows for sure?
